Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 June 2026
These terms cover your use of the Linen application and the linen.openprai.com website (“Linen”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using Linen, you agree to them.
License to use Linen
- Linen is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use.
- We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Linen on Macs you own or control.
- A license key issued to you is for your own use. Please don’t publish or resell keys.
What you agree not to do
- Resell, rent, or redistribute the app as your own product.
- Remove or alter the app’s notices, or attempt to defeat its licensing or signing.
- Use Linen to break the law or to access data you’re not authorized to access.
No warranty
Linen is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk. While Linen is designed to read your files safely (it builds an index and does not modify your files in normal use), you are responsible for maintaining your own backups.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Linen. Because Linen is provided free of charge, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it — which is nothing.
Updates & changes
We may update Linen and these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
