Installing

  1. Open the downloaded Linen-1.0.dmg and drag Linen into Applications.
  2. Launch Linen. It lives in the menu bar (look for the magnifying glass) and starts indexing.
  3. Press ⌥Space to open search.
  4. Recommended: grant Full Disk Access so Linen can index protected folders — System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access → add Linen. Linen reads these only to build its local index; nothing leaves your Mac.
